Facilitator: Lydia E

In this session, we will focus on the three core Scrum artifacts: Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Increment. We will explore how each artifact provides transparency and ensures that the work done by the team aligns with the overall product goals. The Scrum Guide highlights the importance of these artifacts in creating visibility for all stakeholders and team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned on the work being done and its progress.

We will dive into the role of the Product Backlog as a dynamic, ordered list of everything that might be needed in the product. This includes discussing how the Sprint Backlog is a plan for the current sprint, and how the Increment represents the sum of all completed backlog items. Participants will learn how to maintain these artifacts in a way that promotes continuous improvement and product delivery.

By the end of the session, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how to manage these artifacts effectively and apply them in real-world scenarios. We will discuss common pitfalls teams encounter, such as poorly refined backlogs and vague Increments, and how to address these issues.
