Effective Product Backlog management is at the heart of Scrum, and this session will focus on advanced techniques for keeping the backlog organized and actionable. According to the Scrum Guide, the Product Backlog is an ordered list of everything that is known to be needed in the product, and it evolves over time. We will explore how to refine the backlog regularly to ensure that it remains aligned with the Product Owner’s vision and the needs of the stakeholders.
Participants will learn techniques for backlog prioritization, managing dependencies, and incorporating technical debt without overwhelming the team. We will also address how to handle changing requirements in a way that keeps the backlog flexible but focused. This session will provide strategies for balancing short-term deliverables with long-term product vision and how to ensure that the backlog is transparent to all stakeholders.
Through interactive exercises, participants will practice backlog refinement, reordering, and handling stakeholder feedback. This session will empower Product Owners and Scrum Masters to keep the backlog healthy and drive continuous value delivery.
