This session will simulate a Daily Stand-Up (DSU), one of the key ceremonies in Scrum. Participants will engage in role-playing exercises to practice the structure and flow of a stand-up meeting. We will cover best practices, common pitfalls, and tips for keeping the meeting focused and efficient. The hands-on experience will help attendees understand the value of daily check-ins and how to effectively facilitate them.
The session will delve into techniques for encouraging team members to share updates succinctly and identify obstacles that may impede progress. Participants will learn how to foster an environment where team members feel comfortable discussing their work and any challenges they face. Additionally, we will discuss the role of the Scrum Master in facilitating stand-ups, ensuring that the meetings remain brief, relevant, and engaging.
