Scaling Scrum across multiple teams presents its own set of challenges, but frameworks such as Scrum@Scale and Nexus offer structured approaches to manage this complexity. In this session, we will explore these two popular scaling frameworks, discussing how they help organizations maintain the core principles of Scrum while coordinating the work of multiple Scrum teams. Participants will learn how to synchronize the efforts of multiple teams, manage inter-team dependencies, and maintain a unified product vision across the organization.

We will break down the key components of both Scrum@Scale and Nexus, examining how each framework organizes teams and events to ensure that everyone is aligned and working toward common goals. The importance of keeping work transparent and maintaining high levels of communication between teams will be emphasized, as these are critical elements for avoiding misalignment and delays. We will also discuss the role of leadership in scaling Agile practices, including how to empower teams to self-organize even in large-scale settings.Participants will leave with a comprehensive understanding of how to apply Scrum@Scale or Nexus in their own organizations.

By the end of the session, they will know how to create a roadmap for scaling Scrum that aligns with their organization’s goals and ensures sustainable growth in Agile practices. Through interactive exercises, participants will practice applying these scaling frameworks and handling the complexities that come with managing multiple Scrum teams.
