Celebrate Sprint 1 completion with demos, reflect on what we learned in retrospective, and wrap up Q1 2026 with a celebration of how far we’ve come!
Sprint 1 Review – Show What You Built:
This is the exciting moment where you demo real, working features to stakeholders (the admins and community). This is what Agile is all about – delivering value!
Demo Format:
• Each team or individual presents their work
• Show the feature working live (not slides!)
• Explain the user problem it solves
• Gather feedback from stakeholders
• Discuss potential improvements for next sprint
Stakeholder Feedback:
• What works well
• What could be improved
• New ideas that emerge from seeing the work
• Priorities for Sprint 2 (continuing in Q2)
• Celebrating the team’s accomplishments
Sprint 1 Retrospective:
Now we reflect on how we worked together and identify improvements for next sprint.
Retrospective Format: Timeline Retro
• Map out the sprint from start to finish
• Mark high points and low points
• Identify what helped and what hindered
• Generate improvement actions
• Commit to trying improvements in Sprint 2
Key Retrospective Questions:
• What went well that we should keep doing?
• What didn’t go well that we should stop or change?
• What should we start doing that we haven’t tried?
• What did we learn about working together?
• How can we improve our process?
Common Themes We’ll Explore:
• How effective was AI-assisted development?
• Did our communication and standups work well?
• How was the workload and time commitment?
